Anyone who had attended NSD, regardless of the length
of time, can be a member of NSDAA, with privileges including the
opportunity to serve on committees, get invitations to NSDAA events,
and subscribe to our quarterly magazine - The Nebraska Journal.
Hearing people, professionals, parents of deaf/hard-of-hearing children,
and non-NSD Alumni can be an associate member with the understanding
that they may participate in any meetings, committee activities,
and other privileges given, but cannot vote or run for office. Affiliated
organizations, businesses, organizations, or agencies can be an
affiliated organization/ business with the same privileges as an
associate member.
In the near future, we're working to deliver more
benefits for all our members!
With your membership involvement and support, the
NSDAA can continue its educational and preservation efforts on behalf
of deaf and hard of hearing Nebraskans. Your financial support makes
it possible for the NSDAA to:
- Preserve and expand Deaf awareness, Deaf culture,
and Deaf heritage efforts in Nebraska.
- Support overall programs and services, including
NSD Museum, The Nebraska Journal, committees, and task
forces.
- Invest in funding opportunities for future growth
and expansion of the programs.
